Our mission is to empower movement, inspire dreams, and teach our dancers to grow, learn, and shine.
Students at the Dance Company receive quality instruction in a fun & wholesome atmosphere where all children ages 3 to 18 can learn a variety of disciplined dance techniques. Allowing each student the ability to work to their own potential as well as gain a solid sense of craft, artistry and self esteem in the art of dance.
Dana Lamertina-Timko is the Director & Owner of The Dance Company in Clearfield, PA for 27 years. She attended Point Park College as a dance major, and is also the owner of Taffy Salon Spa. Dana also has been a fitness instructor for over 30 years. The Dance Company has an award winning dance competitive team that travels to various cities and receives much recognition. Miss Dana loves to teach every single student that walks through her doors. With Desire, Discipline and Dedication, anything and everything is possible.
Milano Timko has been dancing for 13 years at The Dance Company and has been on their competitive dance team for 10 years. She is currently a PRO Reveler assistant this season with Revel Competition/Conventions where she will be assisting top choreographers from around the country. Milano loves to choreograph and is currently a teacher/choreographer with The Dance Company. She is excited for this upcoming dance season to be a role model and assistant teacher.
Hello, my name is Emily Hanes and I am a former dance student at The Dance Company! Growing up at the dance studio, I put in almost 14 years of work and dedication. I took classes in ballet, tap, jazz, jumps leaps & turns, tumbling, and many competition practices. I received competition scholarships as well as team awards at various dance competitions. I currently am a Behavioral Health Technician in an elementary school with a four year bachelor’s degree. I am also working towards my masters in social work within the next year! Returning to the dance studio to teach this years tiny dancers brings so much happiness to my heart!!See you in the studio💗
Originally from Clearfield, Pa – Trevor received a BA degree in Dance from Mercyhurst University. National Tour Credits: CATS, Beauty and the Beast. TV/Film Credits: ZIPS Dry Cleaners, The Knot, CATS National Tour commercial, “Step Up 3D”, Good Morning America, “Do You Dance, Ms. Parker?”. Trevor has worked extensively with Royal Caribbean as a Dancer/Dance Captain (Hairspray, MAMMA MIA), Associate Choreographer (GREASE, Name That Tune), and Director (Bada Bing Bada Boom). He then worked with RWS Entertainment Group in NYC as a Dancer/Dance Captain, Casting Assistant, Associate Choreographer, and Director/Choreographer. Most recently he toured Germany, Switzerland, and Dubai with SweetBird Productions "Rock The Ballet X" and "Romeo and Juliet" as a Dancer/Dance Captain. Currently, Trevor is a Regional Director/Faculty at REVEL Dance Convention! During the Summer season, he travels to dance studios all across North America as a Guest Choreographer and Teacher. Lauren Butler started dancing at the age of 4 at The Dance Company where she studied ballet, tap, jazz and took part in the competition team for the next 14 years. After graduating, she went on to Study Musical Theatre for 4 years at PennWest University at California where she focused on vocal performance, acting and her dance education. Some of her favorite performances include Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Mamma Mia, Dark Road, and The Drowsy Chaperone. Lauren also went on to do the college program through The Walt Disney Company where she got to work in the Disney parks in Orlando FL. Being back in Clearfield, Lauren is very excited to be to coming back to the place it all started and getting to teach incredible dancers!
